Accepting new patients

Our Story

A neighborhood practice where the dentist explains first and treats second.

Six general dentists, and a team that sees families of every age.

Dr. Layla Mahdavi opened Pearl Dental with one idea: a visit should start with a conversation. Our treatment rooms are open and our exams are unhurried, so there is room to ask questions before anything is done.

The practice has grown to six general dentists, and the habit hasn't changed. We take time with every patient, explain the options, and tell you plainly when a treatment can wait.

  • Fees explained first

You get a written estimate before treatment, and our front desk checks your plan's benefits before your first visit.

    How fees work
  • Six general dentists

Dentists, hygienists, assistants and front-desk staff work as one team. Each dentist's focus is on their profile.

  • A comfortable visit

We numb before we start and stop when you ask. Tell us what makes a visit hard and we'll plan around it.

  • Easy scheduling

Request a visit on the form or by phone, and ask for family members to be booked back to back.

    Plan and estimate before treatment

What guides everything we do.

Three habits we hold to at every visit.

  1. A person holds a tablet showing a dental X-ray while a dentist in scrubs stands beside her

    Patient-first philosophy

Every decision, from how we schedule to what we recommend, starts with one question: what does this patient need? We don't rush, and we tell you which treatments can wait.

  2. A treatment room with a panoramic X-ray on a monitor above the dental chair

    Continuing education

Dentistry changes, and our dentists keep learning: new materials, new techniques and better ways to explain them. Each dentist's focus is on their profile.

  3. A dentist points to a dental scan on a ceiling monitor as a patient in the chair looks up

    Plain communication

We walk you through each finding, each option and each estimate before any work begins, in words you don't need a dictionary for.
